PGA Tour Betting Picks: Hero World Challenge
The PGA Tour is back this week… Well, kinda.
There will not be a lack of excitement and talent although this isnt an official tournament. I can tell you that.
First off, we must make a note the tourney is operating through Saturday for all you last-minute bettors.
Since it was played in its first year of 2000, the championship is currently now in its 20th annual playing. Tiger Woods is placing it and the rewards will go to the Tiger Woods Foundation.
Mr. Woods will be in the area too in efforts at his 6th victory in Albany, Bahamas. Hes now (+900) to triumph.
Streaking Spaniard Jon Rahm directs the field at only (+450). That is not much considering the saturation of gift of the tournament.
Other than the occasional sea breeze shouldnt come into play with this week in the Albany Golf Club.
1 golfer Ive my eye would be Tony Finau. He had been runner-up to Rahm last year and is (+1800) to acquire this week. Finau performs with weather and a simple course.
Justin Rose also has some great worth beside his name with (+1400) to win. He is coming from two straight top five finishes .
The field is currently rocking men, this past week.
Rickie Fowler could argue. I know its been a while since we have seen the babyface enjoying his best although he likes to come from nowhere and surprise us from time to time.
Let us take a peek at the top 5 and top 10 odds too. Picking the winner out of the group will be tricky.
Time for some picks!
While I think he can contend for a success, put on the board using a payout and I wish to play it secure here .
The Samoan Finau has only played this tournament once in his profession and he fell short of the win by some strokes to the surging Rahm.
A 7 below par fourth round proved to be a lot for Tony since he took (-3) for the day as Rahm accumulated more than 1 million dollars for its victory.
Tony is really a bomber. We already know he drives the ball further than most anyone on the Tour.
Guess what? The fairways are approximately 110 yards wide. I expect this week them to be ripping and we could see him at the top five, when he has a fantastic week with the flat stick.
This top 5 bet will get you (+260) which is fine but 10 out of 18 is considerably more likely to occur and we receive him nearly even cash.
Tony is rated #1 in shots gained from tee-to-green in this young season so far and total was gained by 3rd in shots. His setting has been nothing short of atrocious, although… 229th to be accurate.
We could throw form from this window in December although finau is not in the top of shape over the past month or so.
As Tiger Woods telephoned him on the Presidents Cup Team, he must be riding a top today, however.
It is tough to imagine Tony wont be struggling with his putter this weekend however, that I really love the top ten play here. His tee-to-green sport may only be bested this week from Rahm and maybe the X-Man…
With only 18 golfers in the area this weeks championship, some ten odds are simply not worth it.
Xander must be a lock but at (-225), we have to shoot to the top 5.
Now, its remarkable the host of this Hero World Challenge, Tiger Woods, is ranked 7th in the entire world but to own Xander 9th…
I think Schauffele is a 5 golfer. He is young still and needs another season to get the respect.
In just two appearances this year, he lost out to Rory McIlroy at a playoff in the WGC event in China a couple of weeks ago and snagged a top ten finish in the Zozo Championship in Japan.
Just this will be the next time teeing it up at Albany Golf Club of Xander. Schauffele ended tied for 8th last year and I anticipate that the 26-year-old to grow upon that with a top 5 placing by the end of play Saturday.
Just call it a hunch but I believe this week, Rickie is coming to perform!
A late replacement to the Presidents Cup Team for its injured Brooks Koepka, Fowler Should knock off the rust with haste.
Originally, I had been frightened off from choosing on Rickie due to his leave of absence for marriage and honeymoon however I could feel hes re-ignited with electricity for the Presidents Cup of the following week.
5th, 1st, 3rd, 3rd, and 6th…
That is the last 5 finishes at the Hero World Challenge for Fowler.
According to him, hes been getting rounds in with Woodland and Tiger in Florida last few weeks.
Because his lengthy layoff is an issue, thats good but 5 straight top 6 finishes cant be dismissed.
Golf fans! Do not overlook this weeks activity!
Yes, the Presidents Cup is coming up and there are all sorts of soccer action on the tube but the area at this weeks Hero World Challenge is thicker than a Snicker.
Chez Reavie is currently 50-1 in an 18-man field of golfers.
Jon Rahm, that everyone thinks is going to predominate, is your favorite at just (+450). Im on board but his odds arent currently holding price.
With guys like Fowler and Simpson and the X-man at 10 to 1, now we can not get hung up on Rahm.
I like Rickie Fowler even though its been a while since he has played could be excited about the Cup of this President.
Every golfer has placed higher in this course in the past.
Tony Finau is a par 5 participant and weve got five of these at Albany Golf Club. A top 10 shouldnt be a problem, if he could only fold a decent pub.
Additionally, were receiving the X-Man at (+150) to get a top .
Though he is not as big of a guy as Koepka Finau, or Dustin Johnson he manages to push the ball nearly up to accuracy that is greater as well.
Appreciate that weekend to the links and remember theyre teeing so get these stakes in now!
